James Oscar Hobbs of Calvert City, KY passed away Wednesday December 6, 2017 at his residence.

Mr. Hobbs was a disabled from the Marine industry, he was an avid outdoorsman that enjoyed camping and being with family and friends.  Mr. Hobbs could always be found lending a hand to friends and family with various task.

Mr. Hobbs is survived by his wife of 42 years Patricia Ann (Bearden) Hobbs, a son James Kirk Hobbs of Marshall County, KY,  a daughter Patricia Gale Goatley of Paducah, KY., a step Daughter Karen Renee Evans of Dexter, MO.; Three brothers, George Hobbs and wife Velda of Paducah, KY, R.D. Hobbs and wife Mary of Marshal County, Marvin Hobbs and wife Tammy of Paducah, KY; one sister, Bootie Whiston and husband Don of Port St. Lucie, FL; six grandchildren; Josh Leeper, Megan Grimes, Katelin Tilly, Grace Gainey, Tanner Hobbs, and Josie Hobbs; one great grandchild, Keeton Grimes and several nieces and nephews along with several great nieces and nephews. 

Mr. Hobbs was proceeded in death by; Parents: George Damon Hobbs and Beulah Bettie (Hardin) Hobbs, two sisters Marie McManus, Nellie Dawes; two brothers, Hoppie Hobbs and Charlie Hobbs; two daughters, Jackie Lynn Hobbs and Milley Hobbs. 

There will be no visitation or Funeral per Mr. Hobbs wishes.
