Shelia was born May 8, 1945, in Paducah to the late Carlos T. and Manor Ragland Newman. She was a 1963 graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School and was a lifetime member of Twelve Oaks Baptist Church. Sheila retired from McCracken County Attorney’s Office as an executive assistant after 36 years of employment.

 She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Joseph Feig; one daughter, Valerie Miller Lucas and husband Brandon of Louisville; three grandchildren, Nate, Levi, and John Trent Lucas; nieces, Shelley Null and Carrie Marks, both of Marion, Ill., and Sarah Beth Bone of Columbia, Mo., and six cousins, Mark (Louann) Newman, Susan Roberts, Bobby Charles (Nancy) Newman, Lynn Green, Perry Goheen, and Teri Raye Freeman.

 She was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Dik Null, and her parents.

 Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah. Burial will follow in Maplelawn Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 5-7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
