Jerry passed January 20, 2008. He was a chemical operator for Air Product Chemical and Celanese Chemical in Calver City. He retired from the US Army Reserves and was a graduate of Murray State with a bachelor's degree in science and a master's degree. He was also a former teacher at Reidland High School in Paducah. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Kara Jane Ross Sollitto, two sons, Phillip Ross Solliott of Nashville, TN and Michael A. Sollitto of Paducah; one brother Lynn Tilley of Lexington.
