Peggy Yates, age 74, of Paducah, KY passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at Stone Creek Health and Rehabilitation Center 

Peggy was born in Paducah on June 26, 1945 to the late Louis and Ollie Goheen Yates. She retired from Western Baptist Hospital in the Medical Records Department. She loved flowers, children, vacationing, and reading. She was of the Baptist faith. She will be remembered as someone who had lots of friends and never met a stranger. 

Peggy is survived by three sisters, Linda Johnson (Steve) of Paducah, Sharon Stovall (Clyde) of Greenville, KY and June Blythe (Lars) of Paducah; and several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Shirley Ann Boyd; and two brothers, Bobby Eudell Yates and Vernon Louis Yates. 

Graveside services will be held at 12:30 pm on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at Maplelawn Park Cemetery with Rev. Mike Boyd officiating. 

Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
