Ruth Ann (Freeland) Hall, 78, of West Paducah went to her heavenly home at 9:50 AM on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah.
 
Ms. Hall was retired from Lourdes Hospital after 33 years of service and from West Kentucky Allied after four years. She was a member of the Paducah Holiness Church. Her favorite pastime was cooking large meals for her friends and family. Christmas was her favorite time of the year.
 
She is survived by her daughter, Sherri Denise Harrison-Connett (John Connett) of West Paducah; one daughter-in-law, Son Hui Hall (Jeff McKinney) of Paducah; four grandchildren, Christopher Allen Hall, Thomas James Harrison, Michael Layne Harrison, and Abbigail Nicole McKinney of Paducah and one son-in-law, Jeffrey Layne Harrison of Topeka, KS; two sisters-in-law, Shirley (Jack) Porter, Teresa “Stormy” Hall of Paducah; many nieces and nephews.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ira and Mattie Freeland; her husband of fifty years, James Willard Hall; son, James Allen Hall; seven sisters, Margaret Henderson, Janet Howell, Evelyn Trustler, Hazel Carr, Nellie Roberts, Jean Cagle, and Alice Brockwell; three brothers, Rev. Charlie Freeland, Carl Freeland, and William Howell.
 
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at Paducah Holiness Church in Paducah with Rev. Therold Futral officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Ledbetter, KY.
 
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at Hughes Funeral Home in Paducah. A second visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to service time on Thursday at the church.
