Grandchildren & ages:

Jaycie is my special grandaughter. She is really a great neice by marriage, but she is my baby girl. I have been her Pee Paw since the day she was born, and I could not love her any more if she was my own. I have no idea where my daughter is, or her son. It's their loss for not being in my life.

Please elaborate on the above question by letting us know what you are doing these days:

I'm enjoying life to the fullest. I live each and every day as it could be my last. After my bout with cancer this past year, I've learned the real meaning of life. Some may not know that I had a rare uncurable cancer, and the doctors told me that there was no hope, and it would never go into remission. God heard the many prayers that were offered up for me, and gave me the special healing that I needed so badly. He is an Awsome and Great GOD!!!!! I work with the 3rd and 4th graders in my church on wednesday nights, and love every minute of it. I am a DAV Service Officer and Commander of the DAV Chapter #7 in Paducah, and help many veterans get the benefits that they so rightly deserve. I witness to people daily about God's love and what he will do for them if they only ask. I'm still battling my cancer. Having to take Chemo again. Don't know what the results will be this time. Just have to trust in God and his healing powers.

School Story:

The best story that I remember was while in Ms McWayne's class she gave a list of plants to write about as plant line in our yard. See said for us to use our minds and make it an enjoyable story. I wrote and wrote, using every plant that she had given us and them some. When I read my story for the class, I put a lot of feeling into it. Everything went well til my ending, in which I read that you need beware to enter my back yard, because the neighbors call it the little amazon, and just last week, two children, six cat and 4 dogs entered and have never been heard of again. My back yard only covers a 4'X8' area. She grabbed my paper and marked a "F" on it. I grabbed it back and stormed out of the room and went to the office to see Brad Mutchler. I explained what the instructions were for the paper, and what I had done, and how she had treated me. He called her to the office and told her that he would accept nothing less than an "A" for my paper and to tell me she was sorry for treating me this way. You know I don't think that woman ever liked me. I didn't and don't care.
