Brenda Wright, age 78, of Paducah, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at her residence.

Brenda was born in Paducah, Kentucky on September, 27, 1945 to the late Orville and Ruth Helen Darnell Washam. Mrs. Wright was a homemaker for the majority of her life but did work as a medical technologist at Baptist Health for eight years. She liked to spend her free time planting and gardening, loved her family, and enjoyed cooking for everyone when they were together. She had a passion for boating on the ocean in Florida with her husband, A.D.

Mrs. Wright is survived by her husband, of 56 years, A.D. Wright of Paducah, Kentucky; her two daughters, Jennifer McKenzie (Charlie) and Renee Hayden (Randy), both of Paducah, Kentucky; three sisters, Nancy Baker (Don) of Paducah, Kentucky, Judy Jones (Roy) of Atlanta, Georgia, and Mickey Eastham of Paducah, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Briley McKenzie, Kaden McKenzie, Kendel Ponchock, and Brecken Hayden; and several nieces and nephews.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents; and her step-mom, Mary Beth Washam.

A private memorial service will be held by her family at a later date.
