Comments:
After graduation from Southern Illinois University I moved to Evansville, IN. I worked in the Trust Dept. of a bank in trust administration and estate planning. I have lived in Newburgh, a suburb of Evansville, for fourty years. In 1979, I opened a business that has continued to grow over the years. The store has a large inventory of home accessories and furniture. At present we have five interior designers on staff and have been lucky enough to work on projects across the United States and Mexico. I am proud to say the store has been judged and won the title "Top Home Accent Design Store in the Midwest/Southwest USA." By winning this title 5 different years we were placed into the Hall Of Fame (only one other retailer in the US to achieve this.
As far as retirement it is not in my vocabulary. I love what I do and the people we work with. Several classmates have been to the store and it is always a thrill to see them.
Thank you Sherry and committee for doing this site and keeping everyone in touch. I often wonder if other classes are so lucky to know so much about each other.
I will be at the reunion and hope everyone else marks their calendar to attend.
